In Set Seven the focus is on chord sounds, chord progressions and the scales and modes which accompany the chords. The chords are then heard in context within well-known songs.

Triads:  Major, Minor, Diminished, Augmented and Suspended 4th triads and their inversions plus applications of these chord types in tunes.

Four-note chords: Major 7th, Dominant 7th, Diminished 7th, Major 6th and Minor 7ths

Modes – Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian and their use in conjunction with the four-note chords.

relating to each lesson.
